The new generation of composite materials

NEMpreg® prepregs from New Era Materials are an innovative solution for producing high-performance composite components. Using advanced epoxy systems and selected reinforcement fibres, NEMpreg® materials make it possible to manufacture lightweight, strong parts with high surface quality and production repeatability.

A key feature of NEMpreg® technology is the use of “snap-cure” epoxy resins, which allow extremely fast curing cycles, cutting production times and increasing the efficiency of industrial processes. In addition, many formulations can be stored at room temperature, simplifying logistics and reducing storage costs.

NEMpreg.sport6540

Developed for the sports and leisure sector, NEMpreg.sport6540 offers excellent surface quality, high drapeability and fast curing. It is particularly suitable for bicycles, skis, snowboards, rackets and high-performance sporting components. It can be used with carbon or glass fibre and is ideal for autoclave processing or hot press moulding.

NEMpreg.ply6540

This formulation was designed for sandwich structures combining different materials such as wood, metals and plastics. Thanks to its high adhesion and transparency after curing, it is an ideal solution for applications requiring high mechanical performance and an excellent aesthetic finish.

NEMpreg.LT6540

Designed for the marine and industrial sectors, NEMpreg.LT6540 is a low-temperature-cure prepreg that can be processed from as low as 70 °C. It offers excellent mechanical properties, good drapeability and great process flexibility, making it suitable for technologies such as autoclave, vacuum bagging and hot press moulding.

NEMpreg.FR6541

NEMpreg.FR6541 is the solution developed for applications with demanding fire performance requirements. Compliant with the HL3 requirements of EN 45545-2 for the rail sector, it combines advanced fire-retardant properties with excellent mechanical characteristics and a long out-life without refrigeration.

NEMpreg.UBIQ6540

This formulation was designed for energy-efficient production cycles. Thanks to its toughened epoxy resin and long out-life, it offers high surface quality, excellent drapeability and performance ideally suited to the automotive, motorsport and industrial sectors.

NEMpreg.BIO7540

NEMpreg.BIO7540 represents a sustainable approach to composite materials. Based on an epoxy resin containing at least 20% renewable raw materials, it combines high mechanical performance, transparency and aesthetic quality with a lower environmental impact. It is particularly popular for premium applications in the sports, outdoor and design sectors.

A wide choice of reinforcements

NEMpreg® prepregs can be produced with a variety of technical reinforcements, including carbon fibres, glass fibres, hybrid fibres and natural fibres such as flax.

Areal weights and resin content can be tailored to the application requirements and the production process.
